Monkton is one of two towns that sit furthest North in Addison County (Ferrisburg is the other.) Monkton's town center is up on a ridge, which offers 360-degree views. It is a beautiful spot, and is also very close to Burlington, Williston, Bristol and Vergennes so there are all sorts of possibilities for work, shopping, dining etc. It is also very convenient to Interstate 89 via Route 7 or Route 116.
