Salisbury, just south of Middlebury on its Eastern boundary, is nestled up against the Green Mountains and spreads out the west into open farmland. Lake Dunmore is in both Salisbury and Leicester, and provides the perfect spot for a swim, sail, canoe or water ski. Branbury State Park is on the eastern shore, while the water park, Water Houses, is on the western shore. There is a vital summer camp population in Salisbury, but it is also very much a year-round town.
