Built in 1993 by Weather Hill Restoration Company, located in Charlotte, Vermont. Weather Hill Restoration used the 1800 Federal-style Soloman-Lapham house from Bridport, Vermont for the main part of the house. The ells of the house came from other buildings, and the kitchen was built “new”. When Weather Hill dismantled the Solman-Lapham house they did so piece by piece, labeling each timber, saving floor boards (some as wide at 18”), bricks, door latches, staircases and wainscoting.
